A virtual tour of Tel Arad
Arad is one of the great archeological questions in Israel. Amazing central paining with walls, streets and water system that was abandoned around 2500 years ago. On top of the early Bronze town stands a temple that was a miniature replica of the Jerusalem Temple. Many of the artifacts found are made of copper. That indicates the rich trade Arad had with the copper mines in the southern Negev, an Egyptian territory back then.

A virtual tour of Beit – Guvrin. (Maresha)
This is a unique site. The area has thousands of caves due to the unusual geology in that part of the country. That was a mining area for plaster that was used all around the country to paint and decorate the lavish Roman villas. There is a whole subterranean town with living quarters, Columbaria, bell caves, burial caves etc. The Amphitheatre of Beit Guvrin is of special beauty.

Jerusalem, episode 2 - The mount of Olives
The mount of Olives played an important role in Temple rituals. That's were the Red Heifer was offered etc. In the ministry of Jesus, the mountain is mentioned often. The western slope, over looking the city, was the location of the garden of Gethsemane. Somewhere on the mountain the ascension took place and the Christian world is waiting for the second coming of Jesus around the same location. On the eastern slope was the town of Bethany, the home of Marry, Martha & Lazarus. When ever in Jerusalem, Jesus used to leave the city and spend the nights with his disciples on the mount of Olives.

Jerusalem, episode 3 – the "Via Dolorosa", "The way of the Cross"
The walk that Jesus walked to Mount Calvary is one of the most meaningful events in Christianity. Walking the path in Jerusalem is the high light to many that visit the city. Since there are two possible locations for mount Calvary (The Garden Tomb and the church the Holy Sepulcher), technically, there should be two paths. We'll walk the path and focus on the story of the Via Dolorosa.
